Saint Joseph’s College remembers veteran chaplain, Father Clement Falter

Saint Joseph’s College posted the following message online on Monday, Nov. 12, for Veterans Day, “in memory of all our veterans today:”
In honor of all those who have served in support of our Country on this day of remembrance, Saint Joseph’s College would like to share the story of one of our fallen and the person who is believed to be the first Chaplain killed-in-action during World War II, Father Falter. Father Falter was a professor at SJC for 10 years (1932 to 1942) before enlisting in the U.S. Army Chaplain Corp.
