A state health education program is seeking women on active military duty and female veterans to share their health-related stories and images from active duty to further the studies of health care professionals and advance care for veteran women of the region and state.
The stories and images will be compiled into posters to be displayed at the Sept. 19 Military Women’s Health Symposium for health care providers, said Jacquelyn Drake, communications director for the Eastern Area Health Education Center. The posters also will become a public traveling exhibit for area hospitals and campuses, she said.
