After serving 12 years as a U.S Army infantryman, Stephen Walsh had quite an adjustment when he started at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University last fall.

The 30-year-old’s world went from fighting in war zones on two deployments in Iraq and another two in Afghanistan to attending classes with 18-year-olds who were the same age he was when he enlisted.
