Navient has donated $22,000 to Delaware Technical Community College’s new Veterans Resource Center.
The Wilmington-based student loan provider supports members of the military through hiring efforts and an employee-led veterans resource group, Navient said in a statement. It made the donation through its charitable arm, the Navient Foundation.
“We are grateful to Delaware Tech for inviting the Navient Foundation to help make this dedication space for student veterans a reality,” said Jack Remondi, president and CEO, Navient. “It is our hope that it will allow a generation of post-9/11 veterans to forge new connections that will carry forward throughout their lives.”
