University Park, Centre County, Pa. – Penn State is trying to become the best university in the country when it comes to supporting veterans.
Scholarship opportunities are expanding, thanks to the Penn State World Campus and the generosity of a Penn State retiree.
Al Matyasovsky wishes to show his appreciation for veterans and their service by establishing a veteran education and academic fund (VEAF).
“The best investment that you can make is in education…and we believe the same for veterans,” Matyasovsky said.
