HOLBROOK — Holbrook Unified School District Superintendent Robert Koerperich said Arizona is in a teacher retention crisis.
Too many teachers are leaving the area, and the state, for higher paying jobs, he said.
“In the last two years we have been down about 8-10 staff members,” Koerperich said during Diane Douglas’s “We are listening” tour last week in Holbrook. Douglas also made a stop at Whiteriver Unified School District.
