After 39 years of service, Jebb is retiring from the Army this summer. In the past, she was a professor and head of the social sciences department at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, later becoming academic board dean. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

As a military servicemember, Jebb has “served in command and staff positions at home and abroad; conducted human security research in Africa; and completed study projects in Iraq and Afghanistan,” ROI-NJ reported.
She holds a Ph.D. in political science from Duke University and is a West Point graduate.
