According to College Consensus, a website that ranks universities, Lander University is the 15th best public college in the nation for veterans. Starting in 2019, veterans will find it more affordable as well.
Beginning Nov. 1, incoming students who are members of the South Carolina National Guard, U.S. military, and their family members can apply for a special, discounted tuition rate. According to a press release, the rates “are unique among South Carolina’s public higher education institutions.”
Those students will be eligible to save from $1,000 to $2,100, depending on their status.
