FORT LEE, Va., Aug. 23, 2017 — As the youngest of six children and first in his family to graduate from high school, Army Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey Bowling was not in any rush to start collegiate-level coursework.
But, after his arrival here to serve as an instructor in the 91B wheeled vehicle maintenance department and facing retirement in five short years, he said, he decided it was time to get started.
