YUCAIPA >> Veterans attending Crafton Hills College have a new site they can visit for help.

The college campus held a grand opening Friday for its new Veterans Resource Center, which will be open five days a week.

Carla Thornton, an Air Force veteran and a counselor at the center, said it “will provide a space for our student veteran population or any student utilizing veterans benefits so they can network with each other, be around people who have been through similar experiences.”
