Army, Air Force ROTC Commission 26

CLEMSON – Clemson University’s Army and Air Force ROTC units will hold a joint ceremony to commission 26 second lieutenants at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Tillman Hall auditorium. Fifteen students will receive commissions into the U.S. Army and 11 students will receive commissions into the U.S. Air Force.
The ceremony will feature guest speaker Maj. Gen. James B. Linder, commander of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. Linder received his commission as a field artillery officer from Clemson in 1983 and has served the majority of his 34-year career in Army Special Forces.
