VFW Offers Grant for Student Veterans’ Project
April 21, 2017 | :KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. hopes to educate communities about mental health with the VFW-SVA Mental Health Stand-To Grant, part of the VFW’s commitment to the Student Veterans of America.
“The VFW is leading from the front in the effort to change the national dialogue on mental health, so we’re very proud to offer this grant,” VFW National Commander Brian Duffy said.
The VFW will offer $500 grants to support events hosted by SVA chapters in support of mental health awareness.
