NORTH ATTLEBORO – At 90, Charlie Legg will finally walk the stage for graduation.

There, he’ll join hundreds of other North Attleboro graduates brimming with the joy and pride of finally finishing high school.

But for Legg, the ceremony has added significance.

Legg, of course, ended his high school career decades ago – but the ceremony will be a stand-in for the one he missed.

He joined the Navy at 18, two days before graduation.
