State Rep. Jessie Danielson, D-Wheat Ridge, is looking to give credit where credit is due for veterans who learned a lot serving their country.
Her House Bill 1004 would task the Colorado Commission on Higher Education to work with state colleges and other higher learning outfits to create a way to measure military education and training to translate it to college credits.
The bill is up for its first hearing Monday at 1:30 p.m. before the House Education Committee.
