RESTORING PELL GRANTS FOR STUDENTS AT COLLAPSED FOR-PROFITS: The demise of two massive for-profit college chains in the past two years — Corinthian Colleges and ITT Tech — has left tens of thousands of students having to start over their education. But while affected students may be entitled to cancel their federal loans and take out new ones as they start at a new school, the Education Department has said that they can’t reset a student’s Pell Grant eligibility.
